Seeking a skilled imaging professional with expertise in both CT and X-Ray procedures to support a busy radiology department. This contract opportunity requires a knowledgeable CT/PET Technologist capable of providing top-tier imaging services during the mid shift.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Mid shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT)
• Proficiency in both CT and X-Ray imaging, including PET/CT as needed
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced medical imaging environment
• In-depth understanding of radiation safety protocols and infection control
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and adaptability to different imaging equipment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT, X-Ray, and PET/CT diagnostic imaging as ordered by clinicians
• Accurately position and prepare patients for imaging studies, ensuring safety and comfort
• Analyze images for clarity and diagnostic quality prior to release to physicians
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff for prompt patient care
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Adhere to department policies and procedures regarding imaging protocol, patient confidentiality, and safety measures
• Assist in managing scheduling and prioritization of imaging cases during assigned shifts
