Job Description
Deliver essential diagnostic care in a dynamic healthcare environment as a skilled Imaging Technologist experienced in both CT and X-ray modalities. This contract position is ideal for professionals who excel in fast-paced settings and are dedicated to ensuring accurate, compassionate care for every patient.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour day shifts per week
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelors degree or higher preferred
- Minimum three years of hands-on technical experience preferred
- Current Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required, including ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS/HS-BLS/RQIBLS) certification required
- Valid fluoro license required
- Demonstrated expertise in both CT and X-ray imaging required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced CT and X-ray procedures, including fluoroscopy, with a commitment to patient safety and imaging quality
- Accurately interpret physician orders and provide high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure seamless operation
- Follow all safety protocols, including strict adherence to radiation protection guidelines
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Document imaging results and workflow according to compliance and facility standards
