Advance your imaging career with this contract-based opportunity as a skilled CT/X-Ray and CT/PET Technologist. This position centers on providing high-quality imaging services to patients in a busy healthcare setting. The schedule for this role is 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (5x8s), with mid-shift hours from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as a CT/X-Ray and/or CT/PET Technologist
• Demonstrable experience with CT, X-Ray, and PET imaging equipment and protocols
• Proficient in producing quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and best practices in diagnostic imaging
• Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT, X-Ray, and PET scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures with clear instructions and comfort in mind
• Operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
• Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and ensure privacy
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to expedite diagnosis and patient care
• Maintain standards for cleanliness, safety, and infection control in imaging areas
• Participate in training and continuing education to stay updated with technological advances

$2,451 - $2,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
