Job Description

This opportunity seeks a dedicated imaging technologist with strong CT expertise to support patient care across multiple locations. The position requires a professional committed to delivering high-quality exams and excellent patient experiences while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with advanced imaging modalities including Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and Portable Radiography is preferred, with CT experience essential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Maine
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Proven CT imaging skills are mandatory; candidates without CT experience will not be considered
  • Ability to work across multiple locations and adapt to varying duties including patient registration and clerical support at walk-in facilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and patient rapport

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans and other imaging procedures in compliance with protocols
  • Provide excellent patient care throughout the imaging process
  • Support multiple sites including a main hospital campus and several walk-in care facilities
  • Assist with patient registrations and clerical tasks as needed in off-site locations
  • Maintain accurate timecard submissions adhering to established policies

Schedule:

  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Day shifts with variable start times
  • Shift lengths range from 3 to 12 hours:
    • Saturdays, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
    • Sundays, 6:00 AM 6:30 PM
    • One additional weekday shift (Thursday or Friday), 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
  • Shift locations and times may change with advance notice, requiring flexibility
