Key Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification required
- Proven experience operating and troubleshooting CT imaging equipment
- Proficient understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members
- Current BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans as requested by providers, ensuring accurate image acquisition
- Properly position patients and explain imaging procedures to foster patient comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
- Document scan findings and maintain accurate patient records within hospital systems
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to support timely diagnoses
- Uphold the strictest standards of safety and infection control
