Travel Dual Modality CT/X-Ray Technologist Evenings | Winston-Salem, NC
We are seeking a skilled Dual Modality CT/Rad Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Winston-Salem. This role is based in a high-acuity Level I Trauma academic medical center and is ideal for techs comfortable working with both adult and pediatric populations in a fast-paced environment.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 10-hour evenings (40 hours/week)
- Schedule: Monday Thursday | 1:00 PM 11:30 PM
- Duration: 13 weeks (4-week schedule cycle)
- Call: None
- Weekend Requirement: None (subject to change)
- Holidays: Travelers required to work 75% of holidays
Department Highlights
- Volume: ~200 patients/day
- Units: 54 beds | 4 Radiology rooms | 4 CT scanners (Adult & Pediatric)
- Patient Types: Trauma, Stroke (Adult & PEDS)
- Equipment: Siemens, GE, Canon, RadPRO portables, Mini C-Arm
- EMR: EPIC
- Floating: CT Department Emergency Department only
- Department Culture: High-acuity, fast-paced; requires strong composure and adaptability
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience in both CT and X-ray required
- Fluoroscopy setup experience preferred (training available)
Orientation & Support
- Up to 5 days of department orientation (based on experience)
- Strong leadership support with 5 senior staff members
- Adult and Pediatric team collaboration
Scheduling Notes
- Primary Shift: 1:00 PM 11:30 PM (MonThurs)
- Alternate Shift Option: 2:30 PM 1:00 AM (MonThurs) or 6:30 PM 7:00 AM (Mon, Tues, Thurs)
- RTO must be approved by manager
- Initial interview conducted by Clinical Interview Services (CIS), final interview with hiring manager
