A healthcare facility in Wichita, KS, is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a contract position, working the 7 PM to 7 AM shift. This role involves performing a variety of CT imaging procedures primarily for adult emergency department patients, with occasional pediatric cases. The facility utilizes a Siemens Somatom Plus 128-slice CT scanner and employs Meditech EMR and FUJI Synapse PACS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT imaging including head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and specialized studies such as CTA chest, neck, abdomen, and occasional cardiac CTAs
• Follow stroke protocols and other specific imaging requirements
• Work independently, troubleshoot imaging issues, and provide backup support for X-ray techs when needed
• Collaborate effectively with other departments in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) license required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of CT experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Familiarity with Siemens CT scanners is highly desirable
• Ability to back up X-ray duties when the X-ray tech is unavailable in the operating room
