Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment with flexible scheduling (details provided during interview process)

Qualifications:

  • CT certification with experience in PET/CT
  • ARRT (CT)
  • NNMTCB (CT)
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by NMTCB or registered as Radiologic Technologist (RT) with certification in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by ARRT
  • Valid NYS License
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of GE PET or Philips PET Scanners preferred, not required

Responsibilities:

  • Review patient history and orders, ensuring comprehensive understanding and cooperation
  • Position patients and conduct imaging procedures according to age-related needs
  • Ensure high-quality imaging, analyze results, and resolve quality issues promptly
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy per standard protocols
  • Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately
  • Manage radiopharmaceuticals safely and per regulations
  • Monitor patient status and respond to changes appropriately
  • Maintain inventory in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms
