Job Description
Seeking a skilled imaging professional to provide high-quality CT and radiologic imaging services over a set contract period. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize advanced CT and X-ray skills, working with a collaborative healthcare team to support patient care.
Schedule:
- Monday-Wednesday: 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Friday: 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Saturday-Sunday: 7:15 PM 7:15 AM
- 10-hour shifts
- Shifts structured as 30 hours (Mon-Wed) and 34 hours (Fri-Sun) per week
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of recent CT and X-ray experience required
- ARRT (CT) certification is mandatory
- BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment, protocols, and safety standards
- Ability to work night shifts and provide care across consecutive days
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and X-ray imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, applying appropriate positioning and shielding techniques
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to review images and confirm diagnostic quality
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with confidentiality regulations
- Adhere to protocols for infection control and equipment sterilization
- Respond promptly to any emergency imaging requests during assigned shifts
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and supportive work environment
