A clinical opportunity is available for a skilled CT technologist with strong vascular knowledge to support patient care at a well-recognized hospital center in Waukegan, IL. This contract position offers experience in a busy environment with a focus on both general CT and vascular patients, including inpatient and outpatient services.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience with advanced vascular imaging skills
• Active American College of Radiology (ACR) CT accreditation
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Illinois Emergency Medical Services (IEMA) state license
• Experience working with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Preferred: proficiency with GE imaging equipment and experience in a Level 1 trauma setting

Location: The hospital is a 270+ licensed bed facility recognized as a Primary Stroke Center with Magnet designation, providing a high standard of care and advanced clinical resources. The imaging unit functions with four CT beds and an average patient volume of approximately 50 per shift. Free on-site parking is available, and all travelers are required to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures including complex vascular studies
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to ensure quality diagnostic imaging
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and licensing requirements
