Schedule:
- Day shift
- 12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications:
- Must reside at least 50 miles from assignment location
- Minimum 2 years experience in trauma and stroke care
- Associate's Degree or equivalent required
- Completed an approved Radiologic Technology program
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Current state or district licensure
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment
- Analyze patient body habitus to adjust technical factors as needed
- Accurately position patients and conduct high-quality scans with minimal radiation exposure
- Review physician orders and collect necessary clinical data
- Prepare rooms and assist physicians during procedures, including managing supplies and responding to contrast reactions or codes
- Schedule and complete exams, ensuring accurate record-keeping and proper charge code entry
