Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift
- 12-hour shifts
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of imaging experience, with specific expertise in trauma and stroke cases
- Associates Degree or equivalent required
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- BLS certification required
- AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Current State/District license required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from Washington Navy Yard, DC
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors
- Accurately analyze body habitus, adjusting technical factors and positioning the body for optimal imaging
- Review physician orders and obtain pertinent clinical data for each case
- Consistently produce high-quality radiographs while adhering to safety protocols, reducing unnecessary radiation exposure
- Assist physicians during procedures, including prepping the room, managing supplies, and supporting during contrast reactions or codes
- Schedule and complete exams, ensuring accurate entry of charge codes
