This opportunity focuses on providing comprehensive CT imaging services using advanced GE equipment within a large 640-bed medical center. The position involves starting IVs and performing a full range of general CT scans supported by technology systems including EPIC, McKesson, and PACS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general CT imaging procedures with proficiency on GE equipment
- Initiate IVs as part of preparation for imaging studies
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Utilize EPIC, McKesson, and PACS systems for imaging documentation and workflow
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as ARRT (CT) required
- IEMA and BLS certifications required
- Experience with GE CT equipment preferred
- Ability to complete 2-week orientation period, including supervised training shifts
Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Options for day shift (7:00am7:30pm) with every fourth weekend and holiday rotation, or night shift (7:00pm7:30am) with every third weekend and holiday rotation
Assignment Details:
- Travel position with opportunity for local placements within 50 miles
- Facility operates five CT scanners, ensuring a dynamic and busy imaging environment
- Dress code: standard scrubs
