Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift
- 12-hour shifts
Key Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of CT imaging experience, specifically with trauma and stroke cases
- Associates Degree or equivalent
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- BLS certification (current)
- ARRT certification (current)
- Current State or District license
- Must live at least 50 miles away from the site
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment, assessing and adjusting for various patient body types
- Accurately position patients and ensure adherence to physician orders
- Gather and assess pertinent clinical data to produce high-quality radiographic images while minimizing radiation exposure
- Assist physicians during procedures, including room setup and patient preparation
- Manage supply inventories, respond to contrast reactions, and support in emergency codes
- Efficiently schedule and complete exams, ensuring accurate charge code entry
