Key Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with CT modality required
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing CT scans safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiation safety procedures
- Experience communicating with patients and healthcare professionals with clarity and compassion
- Ability to adapt to diverse and fast-paced clinical settings
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of one years recent experience in a CT Tech or Imaging-CT role preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Review physician orders to ensure appropriate protocols and scan parameters are followed
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, maintaining both comfort and safety
- Obtain and document relevant patient history and imaging details within the electronic medical record
- Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions or required maintenance
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support optimal patient care
- Uphold all infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines throughout each procedure
