Job Description

Perform advanced computerized tomographic (CT) imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries within a hospital setting. This contract position requires technical expertise and an ability to deliver precise imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and positioning patients accurately for CT imaging and selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
  • Administering contrast media and/or medications following state and federal regulations and scope of practice.
  • Monitoring patients during procedures, observing for abnormal activity, and promptly reporting concerns.
  • Evaluating imaging protocols regularly and recommending updates to enhance procedural accuracy and safety.
  • Adhering strictly to radiation safety procedures and guidelines to protect patients and staff.
  • Potentially being available for on-call rotations as required.

  • Proficiency in CT imaging techniques and procedures.
