Job Description

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in CT imaging
  • Competence in operating computed tomography equipment
  • Familiarity with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
  • Current certification with appropriate credentialing body (ARRT preferred)
  • Understanding of radiation safety and patient confidentiality standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in imaging
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying case types and shifting priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to create cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes
  • Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed
  • Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality images while ensuring comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to review diagnostic images and ensure clarity
  • Maintain precise records and documentation of imaging procedures
  • Inspect equipment regularly and report malfunctions in accordance with facility protocol
  • Uphold organizational policies, safety guidelines, and standards of patient care
