Job Description

A healthcare facility in Tomball, TX is seeking a skilled Imaging professional with experience in CT to support their Emergency Room unit. This contract opportunity offers a chance to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced trauma environment, utilizing both fixed and portable imaging equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all ordered ED X-ray and CT exams accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate imaging equipment in compliance with facility policies, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of full-time staff across day and night shifts to deliver high-quality imaging services.
  • Maintain detailed documentation in the EMR system (Expanse: Meditech).
  • Adhere strictly to unit guidelines, including dress code and procedural standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT certification required.
  • Current CT certification essential for consideration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience working in a trauma facility highly preferred.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a professional, patient-focused mindset.

Location: Located within a busy ER setting in Tomball, TX, this role places you in a supportive environment with approximately three full-time imaging staff on site. The unit operates on a 24/7 schedule, delivering critical imaging services to emergency patients. Tomball is known for its welcoming community and proximity to a major metropolitan area, offering a balanced lifestyle with access to both urban amenities and suburban comfort.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule is variable with potential weekend and on-call shifts.
  • Expected to wear green scrub attire in accordance with unit policies.
