Step into a specialized imaging role focused on delivering exceptional diagnostic care. In this contract position, you'll be responsible for operating advanced computed tomography (CT) equipment to provide detailed cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissueskey to diagnosing a range of medical conditions. Diverse imaging responsibilities also include performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures, leveraging your expertise and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid state license or certification in Radiologic Technology
• Advanced certification in Computed Tomography preferred
• Proven experience operating CT equipment and handling related patient care
• Familiarity with general radiography and fluoroscopy practices
• Solid understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and patient safety
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners, producing images that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions
• Independently perform additional imaging exams, including plain film and fluoroscopy, as required
• Position patients and ensure accurate image acquisition while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Follow physicians imaging orders with precision, adjusting techniques as needed for optimal results
• Uphold all safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records in the imaging department
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient-centered care
