Job Description
Step into a specialized imaging role focused on delivering exceptional diagnostic care. In this contract position, you'll be responsible for operating advanced computed tomography (CT) equipment to provide detailed cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissueskey to diagnosing a range of medical conditions. Diverse imaging responsibilities also include performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures, leveraging your expertise and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications:
- Valid state license or certification in Radiologic Technology
- Advanced certification in Computed Tomography preferred
- Proven experience operating CT equipment and handling related patient care
- Familiarity with general radiography and fluoroscopy practices
- Solid understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and patient safety
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners, producing images that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions
- Independently perform additional imaging exams, including plain film and fluoroscopy, as required
- Position patients and ensure accurate image acquisition while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Follow physicians imaging orders with precision, adjusting techniques as needed for optimal results
- Uphold all safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records in the imaging department
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient-centered care
