This role is based in a modern, free-standing emergency room featuring the latest GE Optima 660 CT and GE Proteus x-ray equipment. As a CT/Radiology professional, you will gain hands-on experience using advanced imaging technology and documentation systems such as Meditech, enhancing your skills and broadening your resume in a high-acuity care setting. Interacting with dedicated teams and diverse leadership models offers fresh perspectives and growth opportunities that are key to career advancement.
Schedule/Hours:
- FridaySunday, 7:00 pm7:30 am
- Two call shifts per month
- Includes holiday requirements
Desired Experience & Certifications:
- Previous experience as a general radiology technologist
- Proven CT imaging expertise
- Certifications: ARRT(R)(CT), SCRQSA, BLS
- Comfort with emergency department x-ray and CT exams
- Ability to wear gray scrubs as per dress code
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform x-ray and CT examinations in the emergency department
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation in Meditech
- Operate sophisticated GE imaging equipment
- Provide high-quality patient care in a single-tech shift environment
- Participate in potential shift rotations as needed for department coverage
