As a CT Imaging Technologist for this assignment, youll work within a Level 1 trauma setting, engaging with complex cases and furthering your clinical expertise. With weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7 PM - 7:30 AM), youll collaborate with 3 to 5 fellow technologists, learning new approaches to teamwork and adapting to dynamic volumes. The facility boasts an array of advanced GE scannersincluding the latest revolution platformsso youll deepen your proficiency with a variety of imaging technology in both emergency and inpatient settings. Utilizing EPIC software, youll broaden your healthcare IT skills and stay current with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- ARRT (CT) certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in CT imaging required; trauma experience highly valued
- Familiarity with GE CT scanners, including revolution platforms, a plus
- Competence with EPIC or similar EMR systems preferred
- Strong communication and adaptability for collaborative weekend work
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT exams in a Level 1 trauma, stroke, and burn setting
- Operate various GE CT scanners, efficiently handling emergent and inpatient cases
- Collaborate closely with a focused team during weekend overnight shifts
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, demonstrating strong clinical judgment
- Maintain accurate records using EPIC software
