As an Imaging CT professional here, youll be at the heart of critical patient care, coordinating and conducting advanced CT scanning procedures. Schedule:

  • Travel assignment; flexibility may be required to meet patient and department needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, monitor, and operate complex CT equipment for diagnostic imaging.
  • Transfer, position, and immobilize patients safely, ensuring adherence to all standards.
  • Obtain patient identification, allergies, and relevant medical history before procedures.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as protocolled by the radiologist.
  • Capture and document diagnostic images, ensuring accurate electronic storage and transfer.
  • Coordinate daily patient scheduling and maintain clear communication with supporting staff.
  • Uphold image quality with diligent equipment calibration, maintenance, and department protocols.
  • Monitor patients for allergic reactions, providing immediate assistance or CPR when needed.
  • Maintain a clean environment and manage departmental inventories.
  • Assist radiologists and specialists during advanced procedures.
  • Train new technicians and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior CT imaging experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and radiologic practices.
  • Registry maintenance as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
