Key Responsibilities:

• Verify exam orders and determine appropriateness based on patient assessment and growth principles
• Administer contrast agents as directed
• Skillfully position patients and imaging equipment to produce optimal diagnostic images
• Utilize imaging and computer technology to generate high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed standards
• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and identify if additional imaging is required
• Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure
• Educate patients, respond to questions, and provide support tailored to their age and developmental status
• Oversee and train students involved in patient care and imaging procedures

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certified CT Technologist with demonstrated expertise in imaging techniques and patient care
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and quality control procedures
• Excellent communication skills with ability to educate patients of all ages effectively
• Experience in managing and mentoring students in clinical settings preferred
