Embark on a travel imaging assignment within a distinguished 457-bed regional medical center, recognized as a Trauma Level III, Chest Pain, Stroke, and Bariatric Center of Excellence, and a trusted teaching hospital. You'll gain invaluable exposure to a wide variety of patient cases, from emergency and inpatient units to outpatient services, contributing to your professional development and broadening your clinical skills. By working alongside radiology nurses and transport teams, and utilizing the latest in Siemens and GE technology on the EPIC EMR platform, youll refine your expertise in advanced CT imaging.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shift times vary based on departmental needs; discussed during interview
- Weekend rotation and on-call responsibilities discussed during interview
- Travelers expected to work 75% of holidays
- 35 days of departmental orientation for seamless integration
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT-CT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum 3 years of CT Imaging experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- Active photo ID (collected during compliance)
- No state licensure required for North Carolina
Primary Duties:
- Deliver high-quality CT imaging services for a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure safety and positive outcomes
- Manage workflow efficiently in a high-volume setting with a focus on accountability and patient- centered care
