As a travel CT technologist in this dynamic, high-volume department within a renowned teaching hospital, youll have the chance to collaborate with expert teams in a Trauma Level III, Chest Pain, Stroke, and Bariatric Center of Excellence. Engage with diverse patient populationsincluding emergency, inpatient, and outpatient casesbroadening your technical and clinical expertise while learning from forward-thinking healthcare leaders. Every case helps you expand your skills, enrich your resume, and build professional networks that will benefit your future career.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shift times vary by requisition
  • Weekend rotation and on-call schedule: discussed during interview
  • Holiday coverage: 75% of holidays
  • Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
  • RTO subject to manager approval

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience in imaging (CT)
  • ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required
  • First-time travelers welcome
  • No NC state licensure required
  • Ability to provide valid photo ID during compliance process

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Expertise with Siemens and GE CT equipment
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging for ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
  • Ensure accurate, timely diagnostic images
  • Collaborate with radiology nurses and transport teams
  • Adhere to departmental protocols and support a culture of accountability
  • Participate in 3-5 days orientation (facility and unit specific)
