As a travel CT technologist in this dynamic, high-volume department within a renowned teaching hospital, youll have the chance to collaborate with expert teams in a Trauma Level III, Chest Pain, Stroke, and Bariatric Center of Excellence. Engage with diverse patient populationsincluding emergency, inpatient, and outpatient casesbroadening your technical and clinical expertise while learning from forward-thinking healthcare leaders. Schedule/Hours:
- Shift times vary by requisition
- Weekend rotation and on-call schedule: discussed during interview
- Holiday coverage: 75% of holidays
- Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
- RTO subject to manager approval
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in imaging (CT)
- ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required
- First-time travelers welcome
- No NC state licensure required
- Ability to provide valid photo ID during compliance process
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Expertise with Siemens and GE CT equipment
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging for ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Ensure accurate, timely diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiology nurses and transport teams
- Adhere to departmental protocols and support a culture of accountability
- Participate in 3-5 days orientation (facility and unit specific)
