Job Description

A skilled CT Technologist is needed to provide diagnostic CT scans, supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments in a reputable hospital setting. This contract position offers a night shift schedule and allows you to apply your expertise with advanced GE imaging equipment within a dynamic radiology team.

Location:
This opportunity is based in Saint Peters, Missouri, with work conducted at a major healthcare institution recognized for its comprehensive specialty care. The hospital serves a wide region, including St. Louis City and County, and surrounding Missouri and Illinois counties. Saint Peters offers a blend of suburban ease and proximity to vibrant cultural and recreational options in the greater St. Louis area.

Qualifications:

  • Active CT Registry certification
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of 3 years CT technologist experience
  • Adaptable, able to collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare teams
  • Familiarity with radiation safety principles

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT scans and interventional procedures such as biopsy, ablation, and myelography
  • Assist radiologists during specialized CT procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Organize daily scheduling and coordinate effectively with the CT team
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards
  • Participate in training orientation including day shift training availability

Schedule:

  • Nights, 4x10-hour shifts (9:00 PM 7:00 AM)
  • Weekend work required every week
  • Call availability as needed
