Job Description

Provide expert diagnostic CT imaging across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings in a dynamic radiology environment. This contract position requires a skilled CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years experience, proficient in performing and assisting with specialized interventional procedures such as biopsies and ablations. The role operates on evening shifts, ensuring comprehensive imaging services every weekend with a guaranteed 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment.

Situated in a vibrant medical district, the radiology department is equipped with advanced GE imaging technology and operates on the EPIC electronic medical record system. Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans for diagnostic and special interventional procedures
  • Assist radiologists during complex imaging tasks
  • Apply radiation safety principles rigorously
  • Manage scheduling and coordination within the CT team
  • Support patient care throughout imaging procedures

Qualifications:

  • CT Registry certification required
  • BLS certification from AHA mandatory
  • Minimum 3 years of CT imaging experience in hospital settings preferred
  • Ability to work evenings and every weekend
  • Flexibility to float as needed within the radiology department

Schedule/Hours:

  • Evenings, 5 days per week (5x8)
  • 36 hours guaranteed per week
  • Weekend work required
  • Orientation on day shift for one week
