Job Description

A healthcare role is available for a CT Technologist to support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room areas at a leading hospital in Saint Louis, MO. This contract assignment offers a night shift schedule with a focus on high-quality diagnostic CT imaging, assisting physicians during specialized procedures, and applying radiation safety principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists and physicians.
  • Assist with interventional and special CT procedures, including biopsies and myelographies.
  • Provide essential patient care throughout all procedures.
  • Apply radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff.
  • Organize daily schedules efficiently and contribute as a key member of the CT team.
  • Participate in orientation and work every weekend as part of a 4x10 night shift (2100-0700).

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of CT technologist experience.
  • Must hold CT Registry certification and current BLS certification from AHA.
  • Ability to adapt and collaborate well with diverse healthcare teams.
  • Comfortable performing under the facilitys dress code requiring black scrubs.
  • Experience with GE imaging equipment and familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred.

Additional Details:

  • This is a 16-week contract role with 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
  • Evening shift orientation occurs during day hours; full availability during orientation week is required.
  • Flu vaccination compliance required during applicable months.
