Job Description
Provide expert diagnostic CT scans and patient care as a CT technologist supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room areas in a well-established healthcare setting. This contract position requires strong proficiency with GE imaging equipment and the ability to assist radiologists during interventional and special procedures such as biopsies and myelography. The shift is nights (2100-0700), four 10-hour shifts weekly, including every weekend, over a 16-week assignment.
Location: Saint Charles, MO
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT scans and special procedures, applying radiation safety principles.
- Assist radiologists during interventional CT procedures.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care before, during, and after imaging.
- Organize daily schedules and serve as a dedicated resource on the CT team.
- Float to other unit areas as needed.
- Participate in an orientation week on days before starting the night shift.
Qualifications:
- Current CT Registry certification.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT technologist.
- Ability to adapt and collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare teams.
Work Environment: This role operates with GE imaging equipment and EPIC EMR software. Scrubs are black in color per dress code. Flexibility to work with patients across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings is required. No on-call responsibilities for weekends.
