Job Description

Join a specialized CT imaging team in Orange Park, Florida, supporting trauma and stroke emergency services during overnight shifts. This contract opportunity offers the chance to operate advanced GE and Siemens equipment in a busy, patient-focused environment with a strong, tenured team.

Location Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform standard CT scans efficiently, prioritizing trauma and stroke patients in the emergency department.
  • Utilize GE Centricity and Meditech documentation systems to accurately record imaging data.
  • Support department turnaround times with quick and precise imaging to assist emergency diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with a team of two overnight techs and unit secretaries to maintain workflow.
  • Adhere to unit guidelines with a focus on AIDET communication to ensure patient comfort and clarity.
  • Float to the main CT department as needed, providing flexible support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold current ARRT CT certification and Florida license.
  • Minimum of 1 year CT experience, including GE equipment expertise.
  • Proven trauma and stroke imaging experience required.
  • Advanced skills with Terra Recon or similar reformatting platforms preferred.
  • BLS certification required.

Shift and Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM (4-10 hour shifts).
  • No weekend shifts required.
  • Minimal voluntary on-call responsibilities.
