Schedule/Hours:
- Flexibility to alternate shifts, work weekends, holidays, and take call as needed
- Hours may flex with overtime to ensure continued quality patient care
Professional Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT procedures with a focus on image quality and patient safety
- Administer x-radiation, prepare and manage contrast media, and ensure accurate documentation of clinical history
- Demonstrate compassionate patient care: provide instructions, alleviate anxiety, and maintain comfort during procedures
- Operate advanced imaging equipment and select appropriate accessories for optimal results
- Apply aseptic techniques and observe universal protocols and safety standards
- Initiate basic life support when necessary and deliver thorough patient education
- Maintain inventory of supplies and provide practical instruction for students and colleagues
- Assist with patient positioning, transport, and follow all relevant safety guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience
- ARRT registration in Radiography and Computed Tomography
- IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
