Job Description

Step into an advanced imaging environment within a state-of-the-art Free Standing Emergency Room (FSER). This contract opportunity involves working with the latest equipmentsuch as the GE Revo Maxima CT and GE XR AMX Navigatesupporting emergency patient care and diagnostic accuracy. Some shifts may also be scheduled at the main hospital campus, providing valuable variety and experience.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts each week
  • Flexible assignment between FSER and main hospital imaging units

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification with credentials in both CT and X-Ray
  • Ability to perform independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience with GE technology and comfort working with GE PACS, Meditech, and Clario documentation systems
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced ER environment
  • Strict adherence to black scrub uniform policy

Desired Experience:

  • Skill performing diagnostic (non-interventional) imaging studies
  • Strong communication to ensure excellent patient care and positive experiences
  • Adaptable and calm under pressure; ready to support a newly opened, innovative ER unit

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality CT and X-ray imaging on emergency patients
  • Accurately document procedures and patient interactions using electronic systems
  • Collaborate with ER RNs, MDs, and security for seamless patient flow
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and infection control protocols
