Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist
- Current and active ARRT(CT) certification
- California Radiologic Technologist license (CRT)
- Valid and up-to-date BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and performing a variety of scans
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety procedures and infection control
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images according to physician orders
- Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, patient documentation, and comply with hospital protocols
- Uphold strict safety standards in handling radiologic materials and maintaining equipment
- Provide clear instructions to patients and respond compassionately to questions or concerns
