This opportunity is ideal for skilled imaging professionals with expertise in CT and PET technology, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment in Raleigh, NC. This contract position requires precision and thorough knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques using advanced equipment.
Schedule:
- Saturday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM at Wake Radiology (Garner location) utilizing a Mobile 1.5 Espree scanner
- Sunday: 6:30 AM 8:00 PM at Wake Radiology (Cary location) with inhouse Altea 1.5 scanner
- Monday: 6:30 AM 8:00 PM at Wake Radiology (Cary location) with inhouse Altea 1.5 scanner
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET scans with attention to patient comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment following protocol standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate imaging interpretation
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to safety regulations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certification and licensure as a CT and PET Technologist
- Proven proficiency with CT and PET imaging technologies, particularly experience with 1.5 Tesla scanners
- Strong communication skills and ability to work flexible weekend hours
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care and accurate imaging procedures
