As an Imaging CT/PET Tech, youll collaborate with talented healthcare professionals in an environment known for its commitment to patient care and latest technology. Gain valuable experience with trauma cases and advanced imaging protocols, working nights (6pm6am) with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and weekend shifts each week. This opportunity allows you exposure to diverse leadership styles and clinical practicesenriching your resume and expanding your skill set for future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and PET scans, with an emphasis on trauma cases, stroke, and CTA protocols
- Operate a GE 64 Slice scanner and accurately document via Meditech
- Float between assignments based on department needs
- Ensure safety and compliance with established protocols in a fast-paced environment
- Provide excellent patient care in all ER/trauma situations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent trauma imaging experience
- ARRT (CT) certificationRequired
- TX Radiologic Technologist LicenseRequired
- BLS certificationRequired
- Experience with ER CT-Trauma, CTA, and stroke protocols
- Flexible and adaptable to floating as needed
