Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment and produce diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, ensuring accurate positioning and clear communication throughout each procedure
- Prepare contrast materials and monitor patients for any adverse reactions
- Accurately document exams, complete electronic records, and communicate findings to physicians as needed
- Adhere to radiation safety regulations and infection control policies
- Assist with patient transport or other department tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (CT) certification
- Valid state radiologic technologist license (or eligibility for licensure in Michigan)
- Minimum of one year recent CT imaging experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with modern imaging equipment and PACS
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- BLS certification
