This contract position entails working with advanced CT imaging technology to assist clinical teams in accurate diagnosis and robust patient management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
- Registered with ARRT (CT) or eligible to obtain certification.
- Prior experience operating CT imaging equipment in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Sound knowledge of radiation safety practices and patient care standards.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work reliably in a fast-paced environment.
- Current BLS certification required.
Schedule/Hours:
- Schedule details will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to support facility needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for CT imaging in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
- Operate CT scanner and related equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor and address patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and work collaboratively with radiologists for optimal results.
- Maintain accurate patient records, report findings as required, and ensure privacy standards are upheld.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and organizational policies at all times.
