Job Description

Skilled imaging professionals with a background in CT are invited to contribute their expertise in a busy and supportive radiology department. In this position, youll be an integral part of a large medical team, working in a 485-bed setting with cutting-edge Philips and Siemens equipment. This contract role is essential to ensuring the highest quality of care for trauma and stroke patients who require emergency imaging.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 2:30 p.m. 11:00 p.m.
  • No weekend shifts required
  • Call responsibilities required (2 shifts as designated by department)

Qualifications:

  • Active BLS and ARRT certifications, plus ISDH credentialing
  • At least two years of recent CT imaging experience
  • Reliable IV skills preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and independently in a fast-paced emergency setting
  • Previous experience with trauma and stroke patient populations strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR systems beneficial

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans for a diverse patient population, prioritizing cases based on urgency and need
  • Collaborate closely with emergency and radiology teams to ensure prompt, accurate imaging for trauma and stroke cases
  • Initiate and manage IV contrast when indicated
  • Maintain accurate, timely charting within Epic
  • Respond professionally to call requirements as scheduled
  • Adhere to departmental policies, including dress codegrey scrubs are required and hooded jackets are not permitted
