Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; specific schedule details to be provided
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology; current ARRT certification
- Current NYS licensure (must be obtained prior to start)
- Injection therapy certification on license (current NYS registrants) or willingness to complete during orientation
- Minimum of two years experience in CT, ideally in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Experience with Philips or Siemens equipment preferred
- Telemetry experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a compassionate approach
- Collaborative spirit and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identity and ensure exam verification for optimal safety
- Coordinate with physicians to deliver quality diagnostic imaging
- Prepare and position patients, including those with limited mobility (safe lifting practices required)
- Explain procedures and support patient comfort throughout
- Start IVs as required for exams
- Accurate documentation within EPIC, ensuring images are sent to PACS upon completion
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized imaging suites
