A healthcare role is available for a CT Technologist specializing in advanced imaging within a highly regarded teaching hospital that holds Level 1 Trauma designation. This facility is notable for its comprehensive care programs including a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center, serving a daily average of 100 patients across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT imaging using state-of-the-art GE scanners.
  • Administer IV contrast as needed with proficiency in IV starts.
  • Utilize Philips PACS and EPIC EMR systems for efficient patient data management.
  • Provide imaging services for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients.
  • Maintain adherence to departmental protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of CT imaging experience required.
  • ARRT certification in CT mandatory.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Experience with IV starts required.
  • Ability to work varied shift times with no weekend rotation or on-call responsibilities.
  • Reliable attendance during holidays falling within the contract period.
  • Willingness to obtain manager approval for any requested time off.

Schedule and Contract Details:

  • Contract position with variable shift schedules on a 13-week cycle.
  • No weekend rotations or on-call shifts.
  • Holiday work required as per schedule.
  • Parking available at a nominal biweekly fee.
