Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment (specific hours may vary based on department needs)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• NYS license (must be obtained before starting); injection therapy certification required and must appear on license upon submission
• Minimum of two (2) years experience
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• BLS American Heart Association certification
• Preferred: Injection certification (open to completing during orientation), familiarity with Philips and Siemens equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification with strict adherence to department policy for safety
• Prepare patients for imaging scans, provide clear communication, and ensure patient comfort
• Coordinate with physicians to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Insert IVs as necessary, position patients safely (including those with limited mobility)
• Accurately document procedures in EPIC and ensure images are properly stored in PACS
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the scanning facility
