Preferred Background and Skills:

• Certified in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Registered with ARRT (CT)
• Proficient in operating CT scanners and related imaging technology
• Strong grasp of anatomy, positioning, and imaging protocols
• Proven experience working in acute care or hospital environments
• Current BLS certification required
• Outstanding communication skills and a patient-focused approach
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans following physician orders and facility protocols
• Verify patient information and educate patients about procedures
• Ensure imaging quality and patient safety throughout the examination
• Accurately document imaging processes, maintaining patient records and privacy
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to support optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Monitor equipment status and coordinate routine maintenance needs
• Apply infection control and radiation safety standards in all procedures
• Assist with other departmental tasks as needed to maintain efficient workflow
