Key Responsibilities:
- Operate advanced CT equipment to capture high-quality cross-sectional images of patients bones, organs, and tissue.
- Perform a range of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with facility policies.
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support timely, accurate diagnostic outcomes.
- Identify and address equipment problems, coordinate necessary maintenance, and ensure imaging technology is functioning optimally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification and licensure to perform CT imaging, meeting state and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience operating CT, radiography, and fluoroscopy equipment in a clinical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical teams.
- Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and a commitment to patient privacy and quality care.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple procedures efficiently.
