Job Description
Seeking a motivated professional to operate computed tomography (CT) equipment in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This contract role involves creating cross-sectional images to assist physicians in diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions. In addition to CT imaging, youll perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures, ensuring accurate, high-quality diagnostic results for patient care.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise with CT imaging equipment and procedures
- Experience with general radiography and fluoroscopy techniques
- Valid certification or licensure in radiologic technology as required by state regulations
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and image quality
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with medical staff and supporting patient comfort
- Ability to adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position; scheduling details to be provided during the interview process
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Perform a range of imaging studies beyond CT, including general X-ray and fluoroscopic procedures as needed
- Prepare patients for scanning, clearly explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns
- Review and maintain accurate patient records and imaging data
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging equipment
- Adhere strictly to all facility and regulatory safety standards
