Schedule/Hours
- Shifts may vary according to department needs
- No on-call required
- Must be available to arrive the Thursday prior to assignment start for mandatory Friday employee health appointment
Qualifications
- Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain before start)
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of two years CT experience in an acute hospital setting
- Knowledge of radiologist protocols; ability to perform routine CT scans independently
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required prior to contract start
- Preferred: Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation
- Preferred: Skills in venipuncture, advanced imaging post-processing, biopsies, drainages, vascular, cardiac, trauma, or stroke imaging
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized CT scans following radiologist guidelines
- Operate advanced imaging equipment and document in Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient-centered care
- Maintain high standards in imaging safety and quality assurance
