A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled CT Imaging professional in Orange Park, FL, positioned within a well-equipped emergency department setting. This contract role offers the chance to apply advanced Imaging skills, particularly in CT scanning for stroke patients, utilizing cutting-edge equipment such as GE Tempo, GE Maxima CT, and AMX systems. The position requires professional and empathetic patient interactions in a busy, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all CT and X-ray examinations, including CT post-processing
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols
  • Collaborate professionally with unit staff to ensure optimal patient care and experience
  • Work every other weekend and rotate holidays in alignment with hospital scheduling policies
  • Participate in floating opportunities across various emergency and FSED units as needed

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • ARRT (R, CT) certification required
  • CPR certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, with advanced skills in CT imaging for stroke patients
  • Proficient in Meditech/GE Centricity PACS documentation systems
  • Experience with GE Tempo, GE Maxima CT, and AMX imaging equipment is highly desirable

Schedule:

  • Rotation includes every other weekend and holiday shifts
  • Flexibility to pick up additional shifts at other facilities within the hospital system

  • Uniform: Black scrubs required
  • Staff includes dedicated unit secretaries and one tech per shift, providing focused support
