Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required
- Proficiency in performing CT and/or PET scan procedures independently
- Experience with modern imaging equipment and safety protocols
- Strong patient care and communication abilities
- Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality CT and/or CT/PET imaging studies according to physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout preparation, positioning, and procedure
- Accurately document imaging findings and maintain precise, up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and other technologists for optimal workflow and care delivery
- Troubleshoot and maintain imaging equipment to ensure peak operation
- Follow strict safety and infection control guidelines at all times
