Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required
  • Proficiency in performing CT and/or PET scan procedures independently
  • Experience with modern imaging equipment and safety protocols
  • Strong patient care and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality CT and/or CT/PET imaging studies according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout preparation, positioning, and procedure
  • Accurately document imaging findings and maintain precise, up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and other technologists for optimal workflow and care delivery
  • Troubleshoot and maintain imaging equipment to ensure peak operation
  • Follow strict safety and infection control guidelines at all times
