A healthcare facility in North Charleston, SC is seeking a skilled imaging professional with expertise in CT scanning to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity is based in a 127-bed medical center known for its advanced diagnostic services and patient-centered care. The position primarily supports the CT Scan unit located on the first floor of the main building.

The unit operates with a strong focus on teamwork and efficiency, staffed by a mix of full-time and PRN personnel. Night shifts are covered by a dedicated technologist, emphasizing independence and reliable problem-solving skills. This role requires working weekends and potentially on-call coverage, with a dress code of gray scrubs.

Key Qualifications:

• Current CT Certification (mandatory)
• SCRQS certification (mandatory)
• Experience working with GE imaging equipment preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system preferred
• Knowledge of the Rapid system is a plus
• Previous experience performing a wide range of CT procedures, excluding cardiac CT
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Perform all non-cardiac CT imaging procedures with precision and care
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient care ratios
• Adhere to unit guidelines, policies, and quality assurance standards
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech EMR system
