Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in patient care, utilizing your expertise in CT Imaging! This contract opportunity offers an engaging environment for professionals who thrive in fast-paced hospital settings and appreciate a structured but flexible schedule.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3:00pm 11:30pm
- Evening on-call coverage 1-2 nights per week
- Flexibility to work holidays as required for coverage
Key Qualifications:
- Experience performing CT scans in an acute care or hospital environment
- Skilled in operating advanced imaging equipment; familiarity with Siemens CT scanners preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records, or a willingness to learn
- ARRT certification in Radiography; active CT credential or eligibility to obtain
- Valid state licensure in Radiologic Technology (if applicable)
- Strong communication abilities and attention to patient safety protocols
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality CT scans to support accurate diagnostic interpretation
- Adhere to departmental imaging protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure timely care
- Document procedures, patient information, and imaging details accurately in Epic EMR
- Respond effectively and compassionately during evening and holiday shifts
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide seamless imaging services
