Job Description
Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting patient care through advanced imaging technologies. This contract role is seeking a skilled professional proficient in both CT and X-ray modalities to provide essential diagnostic services.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday-Wednesday: 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Friday: 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Saturday-Sunday: 7:15 PM 7:15 AM
- 10-hour shifts
- Thursday is scheduled as a weekending day off
- Weekly split: Mon-Wed (30 hours), Fri-Sun (34 hours)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience in both CT and X-ray imaging
- Active ARRT (CT) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Strong understanding of radiologic safety protocols and patient privacy regulation compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment for accurate imaging results
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for diagnostic procedures, prioritizing patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records
- Adhere to facility imaging guidelines, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Continuously monitor for equipment functions and immediately report any malfunctions or safety concerns
